BRIAN LISCOMB Brian started his mining career at Allied Chemical as an underground electrician in 1976. He began his mine rescue career in 1977. He attended and participated in numerous regional and national mine rescue contests and also in actual rescue and recovery. Brian accepted a position with Tenneco Minerals (currently Solvay Minerals) in 1990 and was on a team of rescuers who located two miners after a massive fall of ground separated the two from their crew in 1995. He has followed his passion for mine rescue ever since. |
