Richard (Denny) Dickerson has participated on mine rescue teams for 30 years. 
Denny is, above all else, dependable, reliable and professional.  He knows the page numbers and paragraphs in our modules for disputed test questions.  We gauge our test results by how well we did against Denny.   Denny was part of the team that rescued 3 trapped miners in 2010.  His team has won 2 National Championships and several regional contests.          Denny leads by his persistent example.  He is always prepared, energetic and enthusiastic.  His innovations are fresh and precise. He pushes us to perform.  We all are better and mine rescue is better because of the level of expertise that Denny has and expects from us.  His heart is mine rescue and his soul is to champion its purpose.  Denny is the ultimate mine rescue team member.
