The following series of slides will provide views and information about the various safety components contained in the operator’s compartment. In most cases, these are activation devices for machine shutdown, but also include other components of the power package and fire suppression, electrical, and braking systems. The safety components contained in the operator’s compartment need to be inspected at least weekly to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
