30 CFR §56/57.12025 Grounding
30 CFR §75/77.700 Grounding metallic sheaths,
armors, and conduits enclosing power conductors.
All metallic sheaths, armors, and conduits enclosing power conductors shall be electrically continuous throughout and shall be grounded by methods approved by an authorized representative of the Secretary.

These standards require that metal enclosing or encasing electrical circuits be grounded or provided with other equivalent protection. They do not apply to battery-operated equipment.

Issues to Consider in Determining Compliance:
• Are all metal enclosing or encasing electrical circuits grounded or provided with equivalent protection?
