MSHA To Update Media on Quecreek Investigation

NEW STANTON, Pa. - Assistant Secretary of Labor for Mine Safety and Health Dave D. Lauriski will update news media on the progress of the investigation into the inundation that last month trapped 9 miners for 77 hours in the Quecreek Mine, Somerset County, Pa.

DIRECTIONS: From Pennsylvania Turnpike, take New Stanton exit; take 70 West and almost immediately take New Stanton exit from 70 West; get in left lane, go left at STOP sign. In less than 1 mile, there is a traffic light at Paintersville Road. Right on Paintersville Road, District office is second building on left.
