HENRY CHARPENTIER
Henry's mining career has been almost exclusively with Morton Salt, as an electrician, driller and currently plant trainer. He started with the company in 1981 and joined the mine rescue team 3 years later. He has held every position on the mine rescue team. He has been captain since 1992, team trainer since 1997 and has gone underground in response to five fire emergencies. Henry has numerous regional wins to his credit, in team, first aid and trainer competition, plus several finishes near the top of the field in National contests. Since 2000, he has been a member of the National Mine Rescue Association Advisory Committee and a director/president of the Southern Regional Mine Rescue Association. HENRY CHARPENTIER
