2008 Metal/Nonmetal National Mine Rescue Contest Hall of Fame Inductee |

| Keith began his mining career in the coal fields of West Virginia. He decided to move out west and accepted employment with Allied Chemical which later became General Chemical. Keith entered onto the mine rescue team where he held the positions of first aid, co-captain, captain, and finally team trainer. He has participated in actual mine emergencies, yearly regional and national contests and served on the National Metal and Nonmetal Mine Rescue Advisory committee. Keith has always considered one of his mine rescue highlights to be his participation on the first place, award winning Team U.S.A. during the 2002 International Mine Rescue Competition. |  |
