Accident Information File

A Connecticut woman drowned after scuba diving at Dutch Springs in Lower Nazareth Township, Pa., according to local officials. The 21-year-old woman apparently was among a group of 75 divers on a daylong trip to Dutch Springs, a water-filled quarry used for diver training. The cause of death was drowning, possibly associated with an air embolism. The last drowning at Dutch Springs was in July 2001. A 44-year-old New Jersey man was found at the bottom of the quarry in that incident. (Source: Allentown Morning Call)
