A Bethlehem, Pa., man died while swimming at a Chapman quarry after he slipped on a ledge, hit his head and sank into 78 feet of water. The 38-year-old man was swimming at the privately owned quarry with a group of about 10 friends. According to witnesses, he was standing on a ledge about the water and slipped. As he fell, his head hit the ledge and he went under the water.
