Accident Information File

Divers recovered a body from a water-filled quarry in Greenville, Wisc., after a woman found walking along a street told authorities there had been a boating accident. The Outagamie County coroner said an autopsy found that the 28-year-old male victim drowned accidentally as he, another man and a woman were trespassing in the quarry. Investigators say the three went to the quarry after bars closed the previous night, and the two men took a motorboat into the quarry. It stalled and began taking on water. One of the men swam to shore and got a rowboat, but it capsized when his friend jumped in. (Source: Associated Press)
