The scrubber is equipped with an exhaust outlet pipe which directs the exhaust gases downward for dispersion into, and dilution with, the surrounding atmosphere. The top part of the scrubber is equipped with a plug which is removed to fill the scrubber with water. The proper level of water for the scrubber is 9 to 10 inches when measured in the water fill plug hole. The water level within the scrubber is maintained automatically by a float valve.
