The Wagner scoop is equipped with an Ansul CHECKFIRE MP (Mine Permissible) fire suppression system. This automatic fire suppression system is an option on this machine. 30 CFR 75.1907(b)(2) requires that equipment approved under Part 36 (permissible diesel equipment) must have an automatic or manual fire suppression system.

Shown are some of the components of the system including the electrical control module and the automatic system actuator located in the operator’s compartment. Also shown is the headlight switch which controls the four headlights used on the machine.
